EMPOWERING PARTICIPANTS THROUGH COLLABORATIVE CARE.
At Pioda Health and Performance, our Allied Health Assistant services are integral to delivering personalised, cost-effective, and outcome-driven support for NDIS participants. Working under the guidance of our qualified Allied Health Professionals, our Assistants help implement therapy plans, enhance participant engagement, and build capacity across daily living, mobility, and communication goals.
WHAT IS AN ALLIED HEALTH ASSISTANT?
An Allied Health Assistant is a trained support professional who works under the supervision of our Exercise Physiologists, to deliver delegated therapy tasks. Their role is to extend the reach of therapy services by assisting with, implementing prescribed exercises and therapy routines, supporting the use of assistive technology, assisting with functional skills training, monitoring and documenting participant progress, and providing therapy support in home, gym or community settings.
This collaborative model ensures that participants receive consistent, high-quality care while maximising the efficiency of their NDIS funding.
