MEET CHRIS AL-SAWAF

COACH

My passion for strength and conditioning started with a lifelong love of sport and the energy of the gym. From an early age, I was drawn to the biology and physiology of training—pushing limits, learning new skills, and understanding how the body adapts under pressure. That curiosity grew into a commitment to helping others unlock their own potential through evidence-based training.

I completed a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science followed by a Master’s in Strength and Conditioning, which allowed me to transform my passions into a career. Through placements in the AFLW, local gyms, and rehabilitation settings, I gained hands-on experience working with diverse athletes and clients.

These opportunities deepened my appreciation for individualized coaching and reinforced my goal: to support people in becoming stronger, more confident, and more capable versions of themselves.

I love coaching as it allows me to immerse myself in my passions and help others achieve their goals while building meaningful relationships and enjoying the entire process.

Whether working with athletes or everyday individuals, I’m driven by the opportunity to guide, educate, and empower—creating an environment where people feel supported, challenged, and excited about their progress. Coaching isn’t just about developing physical strength; it’s about fostering confidence, resilience, and a genuine love for movement.
